Welcome to Southeast Alabama! The 19-county region served by Southeast Gas offers proximity to major Southeastern markets and seaports in Mobile, Panama City and Jacksonville via Interstates 10, 65 and 85 and seven U.S. Highways. Its multimodal transportation network also includes class I short-line rail carriers, regional and general aviation airports, and a foreign trade zone.
Our rich agricultural roots make Southeast Alabama a top producer of poultry, peanuts, cotton and corn, but the region also supports a thriving aerospace and aviation industry, as well as a fast-growing automotive sector. Southeast Alabama is home to Fort Rucker, the site of the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, as well as industry leaders such as Sikorsky, Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin and Michelin.
