Beginning Monday, May 18, 2020, Southeast Gas offices lobbies are open for customer transactions again. We’re continuing to practice social distancing and enhanced sanitizing in all of our offices. In addition, we equipped our customer service interaction points in all offices with clear barriers for the protection of our employees and the public.
Full field service operations resumed on May 13, 2020, as well. For our customers, this means that installation orders and service orders previously “on hold” due to their non-emergency nature are now actively being worked. In this stage of reopening, our technicians wear masks when in heavily-populated work spaces and when inside homes.
Screening questions are asked prior to work in an occupied dwelling, as well as prior to lobby access. Company-wide, we continue serving the public with a heightened concern for overall health and safety regarding our employees, customers and communities at large. We also monitor state recommendations and evolving local situations and make changes when necessary. When conducting our day-to-day work, Southeast Gas strives to err on the side of safety to continue helping prevent the spread of COVID-19.
